Ray Bradbury was born on August 22, 1920. He was a sci-fi, horror, mystery, and fantasy writer. One of his most famous books is "Fahrenheit 451". He loved to read and write, he began at age 11.Ray grew up in one of America's worst times. His family was very poor, he found writing as his favorite pass time. He wrote about his life, other peoples lives, and made up people's lives.In High School he was a part of the drama club. He only wrote for fun, it wasn't until around 1939 that Bradbury got paid to write. In 1942, he became a full time writer. He watched the country evolve and devolp, from The Great Depression, to watching man walk on the moon, to the Iphone today. Unfortunatly, he passed away on June 5, 2012. He was a brillant man and will be missed by the world.
